I was really excited when I planned this special journey about a month ago. I wanted to explore my own thoughts and feelings and learn more about myself. Some might say I was a bit late in starting this inner adventure, but the path to self-discovery has no deadline.
On March 31st, in the evening, I booked a train ticket from Ahmedabad to Kollam, a beautiful place by the sea. The train was scheduled to arrive at 3:05 am. Originally, I was going to the station on the evening of March 30th, but I felt too excited, so I went to the station at 2:30 am, ready for the adventure.
This journey was important to me because it was the first time my parents came to see me off at our front door. We shared hugs and good wishes, and I left for the train station, feeling their love and support.
As I traveled through the quiet streets of Ahmedabad at night, I felt a sense of calm. The city at night was peaceful and perfect for the journey I was about to take.
The train ride began, and I was eager to explore and meet the people around me. There were seven interesting people in my train compartment, each with their own unique stories.
Four young men in their twenties were travelling from Jamnagar to Ernakulam. They were full of energy and talked about their hotel management internships, sharing laughter and dreams of cooking adventures.
Two women, who were teachers at a convent school, were also on the train. They had a heartwarming friendship, and one of them talked about her struggles with learning Hindi, which felt like a story of courage. Everyone on the train joined in with laughter and empathy, creating a deep connection.
During the journey, I met Amit Goyal from Gandhinagar, who was heading to the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, a spiritual place. We talked about many things, from technology to life. Amit was the CEO of his own technology company, and his enthusiasm was contagious.
As the train passed through beautiful places like Ratnagiri and Goa, our conversations continued. We talked about the beauty of nature, the complexities of technology, and the wonder of life itself. I felt a strong connection with my fellow travelers, formed through our shared stories and the joy of connecting with people.
The journey from Ahmedabad to Kollam became more than just a physical distance; it became a beautiful experience, a celebration of the human spirit, and a journey of self-discovery. With every conversation and every scenic view, I learned more about myself and the incredible world around me.
When we arrived in Kollam, the sun was rising, and I felt like I was coming home. The memories of laughter, the lessons learned, and the promise of new adventures filled my heart. This journey didn’t just enrich my soul; it ignited a passion in me to keep exploring and connecting with the world.
The End, but the Journey Begins Anew…
